Introduction
The first network of subject blogs, aimed for Russian - speaking audience is ready to introduce a new blog written in English. The best articles of the net will be published there. If you wonder for what reason we decided to write in English, we'll tell you.
As the network of mazoo networks blogs is becoming more and more popular in Russian internet segment, we get interested whether we can succeed in the English - speaking "world", which is far more plentiful and satiated than our Russian one. It should be noticed that this experiment is not brand new for us. Mazoo networks has already succeeded in guiding Mazoo's Learning Blog. But the popularity of this blog was caused by it's strict specificity, due to which Mazoo's Learning Blog could quickly become well-known among respective audience. And now we'd like to try our skill in broadformat direction - "blog about everything".
Thus, our experiment is also a kind of challenge for mazoo networks writers, as in this way they'll gain stronger motivation to write better and not disappoint foreign audience. Moreover, the authors will be more careful while choosing the content of the article (it's evident that there's no sense in choosing an English article and complete "double" translation from English into Russian and then backwards again). We'll publish only those articles, which content is "one and only".
All the worthy articles will be translated as they are, without any adaptation to the foreign way of thinking. Our authors are all well-educated, know English and all that, but nevertheless our articles express Russian way of thinking. That's why the reaction of the foreign audience is particularly interesting to us - who knows, may be our publications will change some existing stereotypes about Russians or will create some new. Interesting, isn't it?
And the last reason (without which all the rest would have stayed only in mind) is that mazoo networks has recently got a person, having time and desire to translate. It's Xena, who's occupations except translation techniques are teaching English to the Russian students and Russian to foreigners. Actually she (that is to say, me) is writing all this for you now.
Well, here we go!
