Metro amenities
Author.::.Phil
It has become usual for us to hear that Moscow Metro is the most beautiful in the world. We’ve got so used to it, that we even don’t think of the way other undergrounds look. Really, our metro is so habitual for us that we don’t notice its marvelous amenities. Because it’s not possible to notice them only looking under your legs.

Today I looked through the pages of "Metro Arts and Architecture", where the photos and descriptions of the most beautiful world metro-stations are collected. I strongly recommend looking it over (I was greatly impressed by Stockholm and Lille).

What a wonderful mould
Author.::.Mazoo
According to the dictionary mould is “a furry growth of minute fungi occurring typically in moist warm conditions on organic matter”.
Mould differs. There exists bad mould. It can destroy even concrete, brick and plaster. It flies in the air and spoils products. It’s known that mould, appearing on our food without our interference, contains no penicillin and is of no use. You may poison yourself while eating food covered with mould. Mould may cause extreme exhaustion, headaches, skin- and lung-illnesses. While using good mould allergic people should remember that mould itself is often an allergen. Keep in mind that mould hates dryness and cleanness.
One can’t deny existence of a good mould. Gray mold rot, spoiling Russian strawberry, is used for preparation of wines in France and is called a “precious mould”. Marble or blue cheeses (Rockford, Stilton and Gorgonzola) are made with the help of the blue mould. Meanwhile white mould adds specific taste and aroma to Camembert and Brie cheeses.

Chris Vrenna, AMG Alice and Internet interstices
Author.::.Phil
Chris Vrenna is a musician, whose background is a complicated and a long story. The list of groups and projects he’s taken part in, is huge, and their major part is well-known. It’ll take me long to enumerate. He’s mainly famous as Nine Inch Nails drummer. He’s also well-known for the soundtracks to Doom 3 and American McGee’s Alice. The list is tremendous; it’s free at Waxploitation label page.

Soljanka
Author.::.4zy
Winter soljanka – simple and tasty!
The recipe is far simpler than you can imagine!
You’ll need: 300 gr. of sauerkraut, 1 salted cucumber, half of the SMALL cabbage head, a bit of tomato paste, cooked meats, 1 tin of black or green olives, black pepper, Tabasco sauce, and some vegetable oil. It’s possible to add capers, but it depends upon your personal taste.
Wash the cabbage head, cut off the half, chop it and put into the small pan with some vegetable oil and let it warm up. Add sauerkraut to the chopped cabbage. The proportion is about 1:1. If the cabbage is purchased, better cut it into smaller pieces. I usually do it with scissors. It’ll be more convenient to eat it later. Add some water to the pan and stew for nearly 20 minutes.
